Eigen Technologies launches new office in Lisbon as revenues triple
Third office to focus on Product Engineering to meet record demand for Document AI
New York, USA/London, UK – Eigen Technologies (“Eigen”), the global Document AI provider, announces today that it is launching a new office in Lisbon. The office will focus initially on product engineering roles and will add to Eigen’s rapidly growing teams in New York and London, now numbering over 150 people across the whole business.
The Lisbon office, well positioned to meet the demands of Eigen’s global client base, will initially be home to a new software engineering team, with further expansion and additional functions to follow. Lisbon is home to leading tech talent which is in high demand, and as reported in the Portugal Fintech Report 2020, is an increasingly developed fintech ecosystem that lends itself well to the work Eigen is already doing with major global institutions such as Goldman Sachs, BlackRock and ING.
This comes as Eigen continues to deliver record performance and growth, tripling its recurring revenue in the last year. The company has won major new clients both in the financial services space and expanded into new sector verticals such as FMCG, industrials, energy and healthcare. Eigen continues to hire in both the UK and US in order to meet this demand, having doubled overall headcount in the last year.
Details of all roles open in Lisbon, London and New York are available in the careers section of the Eigen website.
Dr. Lewis Z. Liu, Co-founder & CEO of Eigen Technologies said:
“It’s a sign of just how fast we’re growing that we’re now launching our third office and Lisbon is an ideal place for us to expand in Europe. We’re a business based on proprietary AI technology and Lisbon is home to some exceptional technology talent that is key to ensuring our business remains at the forefront of innovation. We have had a fantastic year so far, tripling recurring revenues year-on-year and moving into new sectors. With demand only increasing, it is vital that we continue to scale our team and global presence to match that.”
