Eigen’s Listed in RegTech 100 for a Second Year Running

London, UK – Eigen Technologies (“Eigen”), the global Document AI provider, has been named as one of the 100 most innovative RegTech companies by RegTech Analyst for a second year running. Eigen was selected by a panel of analysts and industry experts from a longlist of over 1,000 companies. The award recognizes the industry-leading regulatory compliance work that Eigen is doing, particularly for use cases such as LIBOR transition, Solvency II, Basel 3.1 and the Qualified Financial Contracts (QFC) requirements of Dodd-Frank. This is the second award that recognizes Eigen’s work in this space in less than a month, after the company won the Financial Services Award (also for the second successive year) at the Financial Times Intelligent Business Forum 2020 in a joint submission with client and investor ING Bank.

Dr Lewis Z. Liu, Co-founder & CEO of Eigen Technologies said:

“I’m delighted that Eigen has once again been recognized as one of the 100 most innovative RegTech companies. Our NLP technology is used on some of the most complex regulatory use cases in financial services such as LIBOR transition. It has never been more important to understand what is in the documents and contracts that underpin your business. This was shown very clearly by the ICE Benchmark Administration’s announcement on Monday that extended the publication of some widely used US dollar LIBOR benchmarks to June 30 2023. Within 10 hours of the announcement we were able to use our flexible Document AI platform to assess its impact. This demonstrates the speed and flexibility of technology such as ours, which enables our clients to make better decisions, faster and based on their specific data.”
