Event Write-Up: ABS East, Oct 2022

This October, we sponsored ABS East 2022, co-hosted by the Information Management Network (IMN) and Fixed Income Investor Network (FIIN). Held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, the event brought together over 4,500 structured finance professionals to network and share ideas over the course of three days. Conversations were mainly focused around evaluating the current state of the market and advancing environmental, social and governance (ESG) in capital markets.

The Eigen team engaged with attendees to understand their current issues managing data and documents within structured finance and presented opportunities where our intelligent automation platform can help them overcome those challenges, as well as mitigate risks and minimize costs.

We demonstrated the ways that Eigen has helped global financial services firms eliminate rekeying, automate manual processes and alleviate data gaps and inaccuracies. We showed how the Eigen platform can extract, analyze and report key information from fixed income documents, such as:

• CLO, RMBS, CMBS and ABS documents
• Bond prospectuses and muni bonds
• Pooling and servicing agreements
• Notices

The team had conversations with managing directors and CFOs, as well as senior executives within structured finance, credit risk, capital markets and more, learning about their use cases whilst also gathering insights on the successes and challenges they have encountered when adopting transformative technologies.

From our time at ABS East, we discovered new opportunities for document and data processing technology to automate workflows, and the role technology providers like us play in improving productivity and performance in financial services.
