Our ongoing commitment to diversity
Our recruitment and work practices embrace and support diversity and aim to create a flexible and accessible working environment that allows everyone to flourish. Our commitments include signing the Mental Health at Work Charter, being a Stonewall Global Diversity Champion, joining the Business in the Community Network, being a Race at Work Charter signatory and membership of the National Association for Diversity in Portugal and the Nova SBE Inclusive Community Forum.
We have also formed a Diversity & Inclusion Committee with over 25 volunteers from across the business meeting regularly to identify areas for improvement and champion equality within their respective locations and functions.
Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)
We continuously monitor ESG factors to ensure we're making progress towards our goals. We collect and measure data and look for ways to reduce our consumption, waste production and environmental impact. We’ve developed and implemented company policies and procedures that promote inclusion and sound working practices. We monitor and mitigate risks effectively to make sure we have a sustainable business model and can deliver for our customers, people, investors and partners in the years to come.
Flexible policies and benefits
Our physical and mental health, our working environment and being able to take time away from work all contribute to our sense of well-being. So, we've developed and rolled out the Balance program to provide all Eigen employees with choices based on their needs and preferences. The Balance program includes flexible working policies and benefits, including a public holiday swap option, plus free and confidential employee assistance apps and services.
