LOD announces deployment of the Eigen NLP Platform
4 Month 2019 London, UK – Eigen Technologies is pleased to announce that they will be working with LOD (Lawyers On Demand) to deploy their Natural Language Processing (NLP) product. Following a review of leading market suppliers, LOD made the decision to work with Eigen, who will provide their state-of-the-art technology for use by LOD’s teams of lawyers in the provision of legal services to its clients. Eigen’s technology will augment LOD’s offering, driving greater efficiency and flexibility in the delivery of its services.
LOD and Eigen believe that clients want joined-up solutions and are fed up of putting the pieces of the puzzle together themselves. Recognizing this, LOD has launched Designed Solutions: teams of lawyers augmented by technology, data, analytics and project management, helping support the strategic objectives of in-house counsel, and legal operations teams.
Nigel Rea, Service Development Director at LOD, comments:
“Our Designed Solutions offering is all about solving client problems. To do this we are able to combine great tech, a rigorous focus on process and amazing teams. Moreover, in Eigen we’ve found a partner that encourages experimentation around client needs, and we look forward to bringing a perfect blend of legal teams, process gurus, and machine learning to our clients.”
LOD will use Eigen’s technology to automate the analysis of its clients’ legal documents. Eigen’s intuitive user interface will put powerful machine learning into the hands of LOD’s lawyers, enabling them to extract and analyze data from multiple contract types. Accordingly, LOD is looking to deploy Eigen’s technology across its client base.
Adam Eastell, Chief Legal & Strategy Officer at Eigen Technologies, said:
“Eigen’s technology is all about putting the power of machine learning directly into the hands of our clients. I am excited to see our technology now being used by LOD’s lawyers. It is by combining cutting-edge technology with legal expertise that we will change the legal industry for the better.”
