Eigen Technologies Achieves SOC2 and HIPAA Data Security Compliance

New York/London – August 3, 2023, Eigen Technologies (Eigen), the global intelligent document processing (IDP) provider, today announces that it has completed the Service and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 1 Compliance audit as established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Eigen has also achieved full compliance with the stringent Health Insurance Portability & Accountability ACT (HIPAA) regulatory standards that guarantee the protection of protected health information in the United States.

Eigen’s extensive SOC 2 validation was granted without exceptions of qualified opinions, reflecting the company’s comprehensive security culture. This builds on Eigen’s longstanding industry-leading record in cybersecurity as one of the few firms globally that has five ISO certifications. The audit was conducted by Sensiba, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity and compliance firms.

As a result of these achievements, Eigen is able to expand its offering across a greater range of regulated industries, building on the deep expertise it has from working in sectors such as financial services since its foundation in 2015.
